Dr. Prosenjit Gupta received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 1995. Prior to that he received his B.Tech (1989) and M.Tech (1991) degrees in Computer Science and Engg. both from IIT Kharagpur. In the last 25 years, he has held various positions in academia and industry, including Postdoctoral Fellow at Max-Planck-Institut fur Informatik, Germany; Professor at International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad; Architect at Yahoo! Bangalore, Dean (Faculty of Engg.) at NIIT University, Neemrana, Rajasthan; MTS at Bell Laboratories at Murray Hill, NJ, USA; Member of Consulting Staff at Cadence Design Systems, San Jose, CA, USA; Sr. Lead Engineer at Mentor Graphics, Hyderabad; and Professor at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Dr. Gupta has over 85 publications in various international journals and conference proceedings. He is a Senior Member of ACM. He is also the founder of Elahe Technologies.
